The story of a Barnesville teen banned from confirmation in his Catholic Church is now gaining international attention.The issue came after the teen endorsed same-sex marriage on his Facebook page.
Lennon Chilak's father got a call this morning from a bishop of a diocese that's part of the independent catholic church's movement.
It's called the Evangelical Catholic Diocese of the Northwest.
The Bishop told Chilak's father that his catholic church would confirm his son, adding that he heard about the story from a Bishop in Ireland.
Chilak's father told us today his family isn't going to take part, they're done discussing the issue and want the attention of it to go away.
